Basel under the sign of voices

02. May 2025

Basel is becoming Europe's stage and Grether's is listening very carefully.

Basel is in the spotlight this spring: the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the biggest music events in the world, is stopping off in our city. Thousands of voices will be heard - sometimes powerful, sometimes delicate, but always unique. For us at Grether's, a company with deep roots in Basel, this is a very special moment. Because when voices are celebrated, we listen particularly carefully.

The voice: our central theme since time immemorial

Whether at an international singing competition or in everyday life: the voice is an expression of emotion, personality and presence. At Grether's, it has been the centre of attention for decades. Our products were developed with the aim of caring for the voice, especially when it is under a lot of strain. Be it through frequent speaking, singing or external influences such as dry air.

„Balm for your voice is far more than just a slogan for us, it's what drives us every day. Because we believe that a well-groomed voice means quality of life. Our products are designed to keep your voice strong and healthy in everyday life, whether you are speaking, singing or simply enjoying a moment for yourself“

Basel is our stage

The fact that the ESC is now taking place in our home city fills us with joy. As a company with local roots, we feel closely connected to Basel, not only through our history, which dates back to 1850, but also through our daily work. Our recipes, our care, our quality standards - all of this has a piece of Basel in it.

ESC in Basel

While international artists make their voices resound, we think of all those for whom the voice is a valuable tool on a daily basis. Be it at work, on stage or in interpersonal dialogue.

When voices tell stories

The ESC impressively demonstrates how powerfully music and voices can connect people. Every performance tells a story, sometimes in loud tones, sometimes in quiet ones. We at Grether's also tell stories: Of dedication to quality, of tradition that blends into modernity, and of a city that proudly raises its voice.

We wish Basel a sonorous ESC time and all voices, whether on stage or in the audience, a confident performance.
